We don't have the Sequoia's in my area but we do have Redwoods. They are equally magnificent. I was lucky enough to live in a duplex for a long time with one (Redwood) just outside. Unfortunately I could not see it when I was inside.<br />Lucky you to not be in San Diego now with the huge power outage that stretches all the way from Arizona to north of San Diego and south to Baja Californa.
